Tamalanrea-Makassar. The Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held a gathering and send-off event for Alumni for the March 2024 period. The activity took place starting at 13.00 WITA in the 1st Floor Hall of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Thursday (28/3/2024).
A total of 38 graduates and female graduates from the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University for the March 2024 period at the Bachelor (S1), Masters (S2) and Doctoral (S3) levels were seen taking part in the friendly event and alumni release.
Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the parents of the graduates and female graduates for giving their trust to the Faculty of Forestry to guide them to obtain bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
“Representing the leadership of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, I would like to thank the parents of the graduates and graduate students for trusting us to educate and guide their children. I hope that the knowledge gained during their education can be useful for the family and society,” explained A Mujetahid.
Dr. A. Mujetahid said that the Faculty of Forestry always strives to provide the best to students, starting from adequate facilities and encouraging all Faculty of Forestry students to finish on time.
One of the representatives of the best graduates at the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, namely Salsabila Difa Tsabitha Arif, on this occasion conveyed her impressions and messages while studying at university.
“Thank you to all the academic members of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, who have accompanied and helped us during our education, especially to the lecturers who have been patient in teaching and providing knowledge that is very useful for our future success,” said Salsabila.
Salsabila further said that he was proud to be part of the Unhas Forestry Faculty family, he had gained a lot of knowledge and experience and of course he would not have gotten it anywhere else. He hopes to be able to apply his knowledge to help people out there.
One of the series of activities was the submission of names of alumni of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, which were given directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. to the Chair of the Forestry IKA, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, represented by the Secretary of the Forestry IKA, Emban Ibnurusyid Mas’ud, S.Hut., M.P.
The activity then continued with awarding certificates of appreciation to the best graduates at the Faculty of Forestry level, namely,
1. Andi Muhammad Raffi as the best graduate of the Forestry Science Doctoral (S3) program.
2. Irfan Saputra is the best graduate of the Masters (S2) Forestry Science program.
3. Salsabila Difa Tsabitha Arif as the best graduate of the Forestry Bachelor (S1) program.
