Unhas Faculty of Forestry and PT. Hadin Metavisi Academica Signs Collaboration Agreement for Downstreaming of Hadin Awani Bee Honey

Tamalanrea-Makassar. The Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University (Unhas) has agreed to collaborate on downstreaming Hadin Awani Bee honey with PT. Hadin Academic Metavision. This agreement was contained in the signing of the collaboration which was signed directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. with the Deputy Chancellor for Partnership, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business Unhas, Prof. Dr. Eng. Adi Maulana, S.T., M.Phill and Director of PT. Hadin Metavisi Academica, Dr. Drs. Ir. Latunreng, M.M., IPU.

The activity took place starting at 10.00 WITA in the Deputy Chancellor’s Meeting Room for Partnership, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business Unhas, 6th Floor Rectorate Building, Unhas Tamalanrea Makassar Campus, Monday (25/3/2024).

Starting the activities of the Deputy Chancellor for Partnership, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business Unhas, Prof. Dr. Eng. Adi Maulana, S.T., M. Phill. In his speech he said that the signing of the Hadin Awani Bee downstreaming cooperation was the first collaboration carried out at Unhas.

“I hope that this collaboration can become a role model and trigger for other lecturers to raise enthusiasm and be braver in downstreaming their products,” said prof. Adi.

Furthermore, prof. Adi said that the product downstream ecosystem built by field 4 could be a means for lecturers to downstream their products, because downstreaming would provide profit sharing between lecturers and partners.

On the same occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. said that the honey products will be downstream and collaborated with PT. Hadin Metavisi Akademika has many benefits for body health and has been tested in the laboratory.

“Forest honey products produced by the Faculty of Forestry Unhas have been tested at the Integrated Forestry and Environmental Laboratory, one of the honey testing laboratories at the Faculty of Forestry,” explained A. Mujetahid.

Some of the benefits of Hadin Awani Bee honey are, helping increase stamina and immunity, increasing appetite, healthy skin, improving cholesterol, healing wounds, relieving coughs and colds and preventing cancer and heart disease.

Director of PT. Hadin Metavisi Academica, Dr. Drs. Ir. Latunreng, M.M., IPU. on this occasion said that the Hadin company would always be ready to accommodate the innovations of Unhas lecturers for general downstreaming, one of which was the Hadin Awani Bee honey product.

“Thank you to the Unhas Forestry Faculty for agreeing to collaborate with PT. Hadin Metavisi Akademika, I hope this collaboration can run smoothly and provide benefits for both parties,” said Latunreng.

Furthermore, Ir. Latunreng said that he hoped for the presence of PT. Hadin Metavisi Academics at Unhas can build the enthusiasm of lecturers to be braver in downstreaming their products.

The activity then continued with the signing of a cooperation document between the Faculty of Forestry Unhas and PT. Hadin Academic Metavision.
