Four Lecturers at the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, namely, Syahidah, S.Hut., M.Sc., Ph.D., Dr. Astuti, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU., Dr. Asrianny, S.Hut., M.Si. and Dr. Symasu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Si. became a presenter and presented the results of their research at the ICONSTAS 2023 international conference. The activity took place starting at 09.00 WITA at the Best Western i-City Hotel Shah Alam Malaysia, Tuesday (12/12/2023).
The International Conference on Science, Technology and Social Sciences (ICONSTAS 2023) is organized by Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Malaysia with the theme “Embracing Sciences, Technology and Social Transformation for a Sustainable Tomorrow”.
This activity is Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in collaboration with Hasanuddin University (Unhas), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), IPB University, Brawijaya University (UB), North Sumatra University (USU), Andalas University and Mataram University (Unram).
Starting the activities of Prof. Dr. Prof. Madya Dr. In his speech, Seca Gandaseca said that he hoped that this activity could become a means for researchers from various countries to collaborate in an effort to produce good research products that would be published in international journals.
Lecturers at the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, presented the results of their respective research with the title, “Biological Deterioration of Wooden Components of Balla Lompoa Ri Galesong, South Sulawesi Indonesia” which was presented by Dr. Ir. Astuti, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU., “Secondary Metabolites Characteristics and Their Effect on Biological Performance of Simpur Wood (Dillenia sp.)” by Syahidah, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D., “The Effect of Social Forestry on the Existence of Sustainable Forest Management in Indonesia” by Dr. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU. and “Diversity of Birds and Conservation Status in Jungle Tracking of Pattunuang Resort Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park” by Dr. Asrianny, S.Hut., M.Si.
In this activity, one of the presenters from the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Syahidah, S.Hut., M.Sc., Ph.D. become the best presenter.
The activity lasted for two days ending with a group photo and closing ceremony.
