Tamalanrea-Makassar. The Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University (Unhas) through the Academic and Student Affairs Division held a Workshop on Writing and Finalizing Student Creativity Program (PKM) Proposals for 2026. The activity took place starting at 09.00 WITA in the Senate Room, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Wednesday (21/1/2026).
Starting the activity, the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. in his remarks said that the PKM activity is the pinnacle of academic and innovation competition for students throughout Indonesia and one of the most prestigious events in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.
“Not only is it a prestigious event, PKM is also an important tool for honing students’ critical thinking, creativity, and real contributions to society. I hope that this year, many teams from the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, will advance to Pimnas and win gold medals,” explained Prof. A. Mujetahid.
Furthermore, Prof. A. Mujetahid said that through the workshop activities taking place today, it can help students express creative and innovative ideas and concepts in the form of PKM proposals that can make a real contribution to society and of course can pass funding and Pimnas.
“I hope that the students of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, especially those present today, can make good use of this activity. Students who participate in PKM are extraordinary students because PKM requires high commitment, focus, and totality, as well as the ability to manage study time. Furthermore, students who participate in PKM have the opportunity to write good and correct scientific papers under the guidance of Mr. Agussalim and Prof. Suhasman, as well as other PKM supervisors,” said Prof. A. Mujetahid.
The Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, emphasized that PKM teams that qualify for PIMNAS and win medals will be rewarded with two semesters of waived tuition fees and a free thesis. One of the students awarded two semesters of waived tuition fees is Restu Ananda, who won a silver medal in the presentation category at the 37th PIMNAS.
At the end of his remarks, Prof. A. Mujetahid said that the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, will continue to provide support to the PKM team, both in the form of room facilities and other support needed by all teams.
Following the welcoming remarks, the activity continued with guidance on writing good and correct proposals, supervised by Agussalim, S.Hut., M.Si. (Lecturer at the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, and a national judge at Pimnas).
The activity took place for two days, namely, January 21-22, 2026.
