Tamalanrea-Makassar. The Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University (Unhas) received a visit from the Postgraduate School of Diponegoro University (Undip) in order to conduct research and collect research information in the Special Purpose Forest Area (KHDTK) of the Unhas Faculty of Forestry Education Forest. The activity took place starting at 09.00 WITA in the BKD Room, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Wednesday (2/10/2024).
Present at this activity were the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas (Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU.), Deputy Dean for Planning and Resources (Andang Suryana Soma, S.Hut., M.P., Ph.D.), Deputy Dean for Partnerships, Research, Innovation and Alumni (Syahidah, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D.), Secretary of GPMPR (Gusmiaty, S.P., M.P.), Chairman of the Management of KHDTK Educational Forest (Chairil A., S.Hut., M.Hut.) and Secretary of KHDTK Educational Forest (Andi Achmad Rizaldy AS., S.Hut., M.Hut.).
Meanwhile, present from the Diponegoro University Postgraduate School, namely, the Head of the Wanadipa Special Purpose Forest Area Office, Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Puryono KS., M.P., Postgraduate School Lecturer, Dr. R.B. Sularto, S.H., M. Hum. and Prof. Dr. Tri Retnaningsih Soeprobowati, M.App., Sc.
Starting the activities of the Head of the Wanadipa Special Purpose Forest Area Office, Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Puryono KS., M.P. In his introduction, he expressed his thanks to the leadership of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, for welcoming him and the team.
“Thank you for the kind welcome from the leadership of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, the aim of our visit was to conduct research and collect research information about the actualization of cyber security in protecting the KHDTK Wanadipa area, Diponegoro University,” explained Prof. Sri Puryono.
Furthermore, Prof. Sri Puryono said that based on the information we heard that the management of the KHDTK Educational Forest, Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, was very good and good, so we needed this information clearly and in detail from the management by visiting the KHDTK Educational Forest directly to make it easier for us to carry out this research.
On the same occasion, Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude for the arrival of the KHDTK Wanadipa Undip Management and explained in general the KHDTK of the Faculty of Forestry Unhas.
“In South Sulawesi there are four KHDTKs managed by the government, namely, KHDTK Tabo-Tabo, KHDTK Borisallo, KHDTK Malili and KHDTK Mengkendek. Meanwhile, the only KHDTK managed by universities is at Unhas, namely KHDTK Educational Forest where the management uses independent funds, ” explained Dr. Syamsu Rijal.
Dr. Syamsu Rijal explained that the KHDTK Educational Forest, Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, is used as a place for research, service and teaching. KHDTK Educational Forest has developed very well, now there are facilities such as meeting rooms, bedrooms and outbound areas that can be used for activities to accommodate approximately one thousand participants.
After the speech, the activity was continued with a detailed presentation of material regarding the general description of the KHDTK Educational Forest, Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, presented by the Manager of the KHDTK Educational Forest, Chairil A., S.Hut., M.Hut.
The activity went smoothly until 11.00 WITA and ended with a group discussion.
