Tamalanrea-Makassar. The Contact Body of the Taklim Council (BKMT) and Dharma Wanita Perempuan (DWP) Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held a recitation activity with the theme “Establishing Friendship and Increasing Concern for Others”. The implementation of this activity was facilitated by the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas. The activity took place starting at 09.00 WITA in the Forestry Faculty Hall, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Tuesday (7/1/2025).
Starting the activity, Chair of BKMT Unhas, Mrs. Eminita Muskarina Donation of Steel in her speech expressed her thanks to the Chancellor of Unhas and the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, who had supported and facilitated the implementation of this activity.
“This activity was carried out again based on BKMT’s concern for flood victims. The theme is based on a sense of concern for fellow human beings. I hope that the aid that will be distributed to flood victims can help and lighten their burden,” explained Mrs. Eminita Steel Donations.
This aid will be distributed to flood victims in Antang. The amount of aid that will be distributed is around 129 packages for 129 Family Cards (KK).
Present as a speaker Ustadz DR. H. Dimas Maryono, M.Ag. conveyed the importance of friendship and the importance of caring for fellow human beings. Some of the virtues of friendship are getting the help of Allah SWT, providing sustenance, the sign of a believer, getting mercy and prolonging life.
“Gathering is very important and must be accommodated in the form of a taklim assembly because one of the acts of worship that contains sincerity is the taklim assembly, while the aim of the taklim assembly is spiritual recovery,” explained Ustadz H. Dimas.
One form of friendship and showing concern for fellow humans is by providing assistance to flood victims.
The activity went smoothly and ended with a group photo session. The activity then continued with directly visiting flood victims located in Antang to distribute aid in the form of basic food packages.
