SPEKTA Unhas Team Socializes 2025 Student Creativity Program (PKM) at Faculty of Forestry Unhas

The Hasanuddin University (Unhas) SPEKTA team is socializing the 2025 Student Creativity Program (PKM) at the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas. The activity took place starting at 13.00 WITA in the Forestry Faculty Hall, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Tuesday (5/11/2024).

The activity began with sharing with the 37th National Student Science Week (PIMNAS) Team about tips for successfully passing PIMNAS and winning medals. One of the SPEKTA Unhas teams who passed PIMNAS and is a student at the Unhas Faculty of Forestry, Restu Ananda Amelia, said that this activity aims to share more in-depth experiences about PKM and motivate students to participate in the PKM program.

Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU. In his speech, he expressed his thanks to the SPEKTA Unhas team for being present to socialize PKM to students at the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas.

“Thank you for the presence of the Unhas Specta Team and resource persons at the Unhas Faculty of Forestry in the context of socializing PKM 2025. I hope that through the activities our students can be more motivated to take part in the PKM program and can pass PIMNAS and win medals,” explained Prof. Syamsu Rijal.

Furthermore, prof. Syamsu Rijal said that Unhas Faculty of Forestry students who take part in the PKM program and pass PIMNAS and win gold medals will be given rewards in the form of cash and free UKT for two semesters.

Present as a resource person, Aswin Baharuddin, S.IP., M.A. in his material, he stated that PKM is an effort to grow, accommodate and realize students’ creative and innovative ideas.

“We need to know that college graduates must have academic knowledge, thinking skills, management skills and communication skills. These four abilities are obtained through the PKM program,” said Aswin Baharuddin.

Some tips for choosing team mates are smart, fighter, hard worker, not selfish, not anxious, responsible and focused. And the tips for choosing a companion lecturer are lecturers who are easy in all respects, such as, easy to find, easy to communicate with and easy to do with everything, as well as lecturers who study hard.

“The tips for a successful PKM proposal are unique creative ideas, quality proposals, zero mistake proposals, accompanying lecturers and students who have passion and are very militant,” explained Aswin Baharuddin.

After the presentation of the material, the activity continued with a question and answer session. Activities continued smoothly until 16.00 WITA.
