Tamalanrea-Makassar. Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University (Unhas), Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. accompanied by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU. and Head of the Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Dr. Ir. Sitti Nuraeni, M.P. officially welcomed 13 Independent Campus Learning (MBKM) students from the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) from Tadulako University and Pattimura University. The activity took place starting at 10.00 WITA in the Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Tuesday (20/8/2024).
A total of 13 people were officially accepted by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry Unhas as MBKM PKKM Mandiri participants, of which 7 people were from Pattimura University and 6 people from Tadulako University. Students from Pattimura University accompanied by Mercy Sahureka, S.Hut., M.Sc. (Lecturer in the Forestry Department, Pattimura University).
Starting the activities of the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU. In his speech, he welcomed 13 MBKM PKKM Mandiri students from Pattimura University and Tadulako University who will undertake one semester of lectures at the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas.
“I hope that students from Pattimura University and Tadulako University can take part in lectures at the Unhas Faculty of Forestry well and comfortably, can adapt quickly and collaborate with friends at the Forestry Faculty,” explained Dr. Syamsu Rijal.
On the same occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. in his speech said that currently the lecture process for the Early Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year uses two curricula, namely the 2020 Curriculum (K-20) and the 2023 Curriculum (K-23).
“Students of the class of 2023 during the lecture process use the K-23 Curriculum where the maximum study period is ten semesters or 5 years, so we have high hopes that students of the class of 2023 can finish more quickly and get a bachelor’s degree,” said A. Mujetahid.
A. Mujetahid further said that MBKM PKKM students from Tadulako University and Pattimura University, if there are any problems during the lecture process, don’t hesitate and be embarrassed to ask the lecturers and staff of the Unhas Forestry Faculty.
“I hope that students from Tadulako University and Pattimura University can quickly adjust and adapt, if there are problems, immediately convey them to us so that the obstacles they face can be resolved immediately,” said A. Mujetahid.
A. Mujetahid said that if during the lecture process the advantages and disadvantages of the Unhas Faculty of Forestry were discovered, then this could be used as sharing material in developing and advancing each faculty.
The recruitment activity for MBKM PKKM Faculty of Forestry Unhas students from Tadulako University and Pattimura University went smoothly until 12.00 WITA and ended with a group photo session.
