The Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University (Unhas) for the first time held an inauguration event with the Student Affairs Institution for the 2023-2024 period. The activity took place starting at 08.00 WITA in the 1st Floor Hall of the Faculty of Forestry Unhas, Tamalanrea Makassar Campus, Friday (23/2/2024).
Starting the activities, the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. In his speech, he said that the joint inauguration of the 2023-2024 period of the 2023-2024 Faculty of Forestry Unhas student body was the first activity carried out and was a new history in the field of student affairs.
“Congratulations and success to all the administrators of the Unhas Faculty of Forestry student organization who were inaugurated for the first time. I hope that this joint inauguration can revive the enthusiasm of students to organize and the enthusiasm to develop and advance a better institution,” said A. Mujetahid.
Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. said that the Unhas Faculty of Forestry is ready to assist student organization activities as long as these activities can support Key Performance Indicators (IKU) and of course better institutional development in the future.
On the same occasion, the Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Unhas, Prof. Drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D., S.p.BM (K). In his speech, he expressed his thanks to the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University and the leadership who had initiated the implementation of the inauguration activities with student organizations.
The Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Unhas, also expressed great appreciation for this activity.
“I really appreciate the activities for the inauguration of the Faculty of Forestry student organization for the 2023/2024 period. I hope that this activity can trigger the administrators to continue to inspire and motivate other students to be active in good organizations and not hamper their academics,” explained Prof. Ruslin.
After the speech, the activity then continued with a direct inauguration by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University. The 4 formal institutions are the UNHAS Faculty of Forestry Student Consultative Council (Maperwa), the UNHAS Sylva Indonesia Forestry Student Family Executive Board (PC.), the Environmental Nature Guide Student Activity Unit (UKM PAL) and the Sylva Indonesia Creative Wilderness Student Forestry Unit (PC.) UNHAS.
The activity went smoothly and ended with a group photo session.
