Makassar. The Hasanuddin University International Forestry Students’ Association Local Committee Student Activity Unit (UKM IFSA LC-UNHAS) Faculty of Forestry held a workshop and sharing session entitled Meaningful Youth Participation with the theme “Participatory, Collaborative and Synergistic”. The activity took place starting at 07.00 WITA at Nutrihub Makassar, Saturday (10/12/2022).
This activity aims to create a space for discussion and a means of exchanging insights both technically and practically between young people and as a forum for increasing literacy, participation and activeness of young people in organizational and academic circles, as well as building collaboration between organizations.
IFSA LC-UNHAS UKM Secretary, Dita Dwiyanti said that this activity was considered important to be carried out in order to create spaces for exchanging insights between young people in building student institutions that are participatory, collaborative and synergistic.
Presenting 4 speakers from among young people and teenagers with achievements, namely, Moh. Rifli Mubarak (Mawapres Unhas 2022), Risaldi Wajo (Environmental Ambassador for North Luwu Regency 2022 and Environmental Ambassador for South Sulawesi 2022), Muhammad Taufiq Fayyad and Lathifa Ramadhani (GenRe Makassar Ambassador 2022).
In general, resource persons delivered material that motivated and inspired young people to continue to excel, be able to collaborate and synergize and be active in building relationships and cooperation for the benefit of themselves, the institution and the environment in the future.
This series of activities includes game challenges and environmental campaigns.
Activities continued smoothly until 15.00 WITA.
