Towards WBK, Faculty of Forestry Unhas Holds Coordination Meeting on the Completion of Integrity Zone Documents

The Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University (Unhas), held a coordination meeting to discuss the completion of documents for the development of the Integrity Zone (ZI) 2026. The meeting took place at 14:30 WITA in the 2nd Floor Senate Room of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, on Monday (9 February 2026).

The coordination meeting was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry Unhas as well as the Chair of the Integrity Zone Team, Prof. Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU, and was attended by all members of the Integrity Zone development team.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Mujetahid encouraged all members of the Integrity Zone team and the academic community of the Faculty of Forestry Unhas to remain enthusiastic and continuously improve performance while upholding integrity in supporting the development of the Integrity Zone, particularly in ensuring the completeness of supporting documents.

“The development of the Integrity Zone aims to ensure that all duties carried out by work units within the Faculty of Forestry Unhas are based on a vision of delivering services that are transparent, accountable, and trustworthy,” explained Prof. A. Mujetahid.

The coordination meeting on the 2026 Integrity Zone development is expected to assist in completing and updating the required Integrity Zone documents, thereby strengthening institutional readiness in achieving the status of a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK).

In the area of supervision, the focus is placed on strengthening internal control systems through monitoring the reporting of the State Officials’ Wealth Report (LHKPN) and Annual Tax Returns (SPT), identifying and mapping issues within work units, implementing risk management, preventing conflicts of interest, and establishing effective systems related to the whistleblowing system and internal complaint mechanisms.

Prof. Mujetahid further emphasized that the development of the Integrity Zone must involve the entire academic community of the Faculty of Forestry Unhas. “The Integrity Zone development must be implemented by all members of the academic community, from leadership to lecturers, educational staff, and students, in order to create an environment of integrity that supports optimal public services and is free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism,” he stated.

Following the opening session, the activity continued with a detailed review and verification of documents that need to be completed and updated as part of the Integrity Zone documentation process for 2026.
