Maros, January 13, 2026 — The management team of the KHDTK Educational Forest of Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) conducted a weekly evaluation and coordination meeting at the VIP Eboni Hall, Unhas Educational Forest, located in Bengo, Cenrana District, Maros Regency, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. This routine meeting focused on reviewing work achievements from the previous week and discussing the completion of work programs that remain unfinished.
During the meeting, the team identified obstacles encountered in the implementation of activities and formulated follow-up actions to ensure that all planned programs could be completed within the current week. The coordination forum also discussed additional tasks beyond the main duties and functions, including a plan to construct a waste incinerator to reduce waste accumulation at the waste collection area.
In addition, the meeting addressed plans to improve the Trigona bee breeding facility within the KHDTK Unhas Educational Forest Bengo area. This initiative is part of efforts to strengthen the function of the area in supporting education, research, and the development of non-timber forest products.
The Head of KHDTK Unhas Educational Forest, Andi Achmad Rizaldy AS, S.Hut., M.Hut., stated that regular evaluations are essential to ensure that all programs are implemented effectively and sustainably.
“Through weekly evaluations, we strive to ensure that every activity is well-directed and delivers tangible benefits for the management of KHDTK as an educational, training, and sustainable forest product development area,” he said.
