Tamalanrea-Makassar. The Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University held a Workshop on Preparing the Independent Forestry Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) Model. The activity took place starting at 08.30 WITA in the Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Saturday (3/12/2022).
Starting the activity, Head of the Forestry Department, Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU. In his speech, he said that this activity was a space for discussion and sharing of experiences related to the implementation of the Mandiri Forestry MBKM Program.
“I hope that through this activity lecturers at the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, can obtain enlightenment and direction regarding the implementation of the Mandiri MBKM program from the resource persons,” explained Syamsu Rijal.
Representing the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry at Unhas, the Representative of the Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, Syahidah, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU. giving a welcome as well as opening the activity. In his speech, he thanked the resource persons and lecturers who attended this event.
“Thank you to the resource person for taking the time to be present to provide enlightenment, various experiences and steps that must be taken and carried out in implementing the Mandiri MBKM program,” explained Syahidah.
Syahidah further said that a better implementation of the Mandiri MBKM program is the collaboration between lecturers, students and Education Personnel (Tendik) at Hasanuddin University.
After the official opening of the event, the activity then continued with the presentation of material from the speakers.
Present as a resource person, Makkarennu, S.Hut., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Head of Sub-Directorate for Independent Education Unhas), Dr. Eng. Amiruddin, S.Sc., M.Si. (Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, FMIPA Unhas) and Dr. Iqbal, S.TP., M.Sc. (Lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, Unhas).
Makkarennu, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D., presented material related to the policy, direction and implementation of Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) learning. In the material, it was stated that the MBKM policy was implemented in order to realize an autonomous and flexible learning process in higher education.
“The realization of an autonomous and flexible learning process in higher education can design and implement innovative learning processes so that students can achieve optimal learning outcomes that include aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills,” explained Makkarennu.
The next material was presented by Dr. Iqbal, S.TP., M.Sc. presenting material related to the MKBKM Mandiri Thematic Real Work Lecture Program (KKNT) “Appropriate Technological Innovation” in the Agricultural Engineering Study Program at Hasanuddin University. The material was presented regarding the equalization and assessment of the MBKM program.
One form of equivalency for the Mandiri MBKM KKNT is a structured form of 20 credits (Structured form) where the structured form is a form of equivalency in the Mandiri MBKM KKNT program.
“Independent learning activities can be structured according to the curriculum taken by students. The 20 credits are stated in the form of equality with the courses offered whose competencies are in line with KKNT/Internship activities,” explained Iqbal.
Dr. Eng. Amiruddin, S.Sc., M.Si. presenting material related to the Integration of MBKM Forms of Learning Activities (BKP) in the Higher Education Curriculum (KPT) for the Undergraduate Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Hasanuddin University.
This activity was guided by Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU. as moderator. The activity went smoothly until 12.30 WITA and ended with a discussion session
