Makassar, January 19, 2026 — The Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Hasanuddin, Prof. Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU, attended and delivered remarks at the Upgrading, Inauguration, and Work Meeting of the Management Board of the Belantara Kreatif Sylva Indonesia Student Activity Unit (UKM BK-SI) of Universitas Hasanuddin for the 2025/2026 term.In his remarks, Prof. Syamsu Rijal congratulated Natasya Amelia Annas, who was officially inaugurated as Chairperson of UKM Belantara Kreatif Sylva Indonesia (BK-SI) for the 2025/2026 period. He emphasized the strategic role of student activity units as platforms for developing students’ interests, talents, and creativity, particularly in the fields of arts, sports, and journalism.He also encouraged students to actively participate in competitions, engage in international conferences, and continuously enhance their soft skills, especially in preparing activity proposals.Meanwhile, the newly elected Chairperson of UKM Belantara Kreatif Sylva Indonesia (BK-SI), Natasya Amelia Annas, reaffirmed her commitment to leading the organization in a solid and well-directed manner in line with the leadership theme of the current term.“Through the spirit of one leadership, one direction, and one organizational goal, we aim to build a cohesive management team that moves with a shared vision and delivers impactful programs for the development of members’ creativity, particularly in the fields of arts, sports, and journalism,” she stated.The event marked an important starting point for the 2025/2026 management board to unify the organization’s direction and implement work programs aligned with the student affairs vision of the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Hasanuddin.
