Tamalanrea-Makassar. The Faculty of Forestry of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) underwent an External Audit for Recertification of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS). The event took place at 12:30 WITA in the Senate Room on the 2nd Floor of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Tuesday (15/7/2025).
The External Audit of ISO 9001:2015 QMS Recertification is carried out with the aim of ensuring that the documents that have been created are appropriate and in line with those implemented.
Kicking off the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.P., IPU., in his remarks, stated that this event was crucial for assessing the implementation of services outlined in the documents prepared by each work unit within the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University.
“On behalf of the leadership, we really hope for input and suggestions from the auditors to improve documents and enhance the quality of academic and non-academic services at the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas,” explained Prof. Mujetahid.
On this occasion, Prof. Mujetahid conveyed the Faculty of Forestry’s commitment to improving services as one of the steps in developing an integrity zone and said that the entire academic community is committed to rejecting gratuities.
After the speech, the activity was continued with assistance with internal quality audits in each work unit within the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, by external auditor ISO Badiuz Zaman.
