Tamalanrea-Makassar. Faculty of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) Forestry Work and Night Camp (PKMR) XLVIII 2025 with the theme “Forming Foresters with Character, Uniting with Nature, Protecting the Forest and Serving the Nation,”. The activity was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University (Unhas), Prof. Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU.
The activity took place starting at 19.00 WITA at the PKMR Field, KHDTK Forestry Education Faculty, Unhas, Maros Regency, Sunday (22/6/2025).
Present at this event were the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU., Head of Academic and Student Affairs, Hasanuddin University, several lecturers and education staff of the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Forestry.
Starting the activity, the Head of the PKMR XLVII Committee of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Dr. Putu Supadma Putra, S.Hut. in his report expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, sponsors and all parties who have helped and supported so that this activity can be carried out well.
“I hope that the participants of PKMR XLVIII can carry out this activity well, all the things that have been conveyed during the briefing can be applied in the field, and most importantly must obey the rules that have been set by the committee,” explained Dr. Puma, his nickname.
This activity was attended by students from the 2024 intake with a total of approximately 400 participants.
Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU. in his speech expressed his gratitude to all parties who have helped in the implementation of this activity, especially to the Maros Regency Government and the Medical Assistance Team (TBM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University.
“I hope that this activity can be followed well by students, all the knowledge and experience gained during the activity can later be applied in everyday life,” explained Prof. Syamsu Rijal.
Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. in his speech expressed his gratitude to the committee for their cooperation so that this activity could be carried out well.
“Thank you for the cooperation of the committee and all parties who have contributed to the implementation of this activity, I hope that the PKMR XLVIII activity can run smoothly until the end and students can enjoy and utilize this activity well because there is certainly a lot of new knowledge and experience that can be obtained through this activity,” explained Prof. A. Mujetahid.
Furthermore, Prof. A. Mujetahid said to maintain health and solidarity during the implementation of the PKMR XLVIII Faculty of Forestry Unhas activities.
PKMR is one of the prestigious events in the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, and has been held 48 times. This activity is one of the events to build and establish togetherness between lecturers, education staff, alumni and students, this activity is also a process of forming the character of a strong forester.
The event went smoothly and ended with a group photo session.
