Tamalanrea-Makassar. The Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University (Unhas), through the Academic and Student Affairs Sector, is holding the 2025 Student Achievement Election (PILMAPRES) at the faculty level. The activity took place starting at 15.30 WITA in the BKD Room, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Friday (7/3/2025).
Starting the activity, Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Syamsu Rijal, S.Hut., M.Si., IPU. In his speech, he said that this activity is a forum for students to hone their achievements and provides an opportunity to convey their innovative and creative ideas.
“I hope that this year’s Pilmapres participants can make good use of this opportunity. One thing you need to remember is that when taking part in a competition, courage is one of the most important things that must be instilled in you and the experience gained can be a provision for taking part in other competitions,” explained Prof. Syamsu Rijal.
Furthermore, Prof. Syamsu Rijal said that students who were selected to participate in the university-level Pilmapres selection could be a motivation for other students to participate in the upcoming 2026 Pilmapres, and could become outstanding students in 2025.
After the welcoming speech, the activity continued with the presentation of creative ideas from the 2025 Presidential Election participants.
The following are the names of the 2025 Presidential Election participants at the Faculty of Forestry Unhas level, namely:
1. Devlin Arvael Mardianto (Forestry Study Program, class of 2024)
2. Davit Banten Tandi Palobo (Forestry Study Program, class of 2023)
The activity went smoothly until 16.30 WITA and ended with a group photo session.
