Tamalanrea-Makassar. Head of the Forestry Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Dr. Ir. Dahlan, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU. visited the Special Purpose Forest Area (KHDTK) Educational Forest of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University (Unhas) in the context of managing KHDTK.
The arrival of the Head of the Forestry Department at Syiah Kuala University (USK) was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Prof. Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.P., IPU. The activity took place starting at 10.00 WITA at the KHDTK Educational Forest, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, Bengo-Bengo, Maros Regency, Monday (25/11/2024).
Starting the activity, Dr. Ir. Dahlan, S.Hut., M.Sc., IPU. conveyed that the purpose and objective of visiting the KHDTK Educational Forest, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, was to discuss collaborative opportunities between the Forestry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, USK and the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas.
“My aim in visiting the Faculty of Forestry, Unhas, is not only to discuss opportunities for cooperation, but also to discuss the management of the KHDTK of the Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Forestry, Unhas,” said Dr. Dahlan.
Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. A. Mujetahid M., S.Hut., M.Si., IPU. conveyed several things related to the management of the Unhas Educational Forest KHDTK, one of which was the management of the facilities at the Unhas Educational Forest KHDTK and invited the Head of the USK Forestry Department to see directly the existing facilities such as accommodation, palm sugar production house and SEED research building.
